“Floppy Hearts” for the ‘Have a Heart’ Project QUILTING challenge
machine appliqued and quilted by Capri Lapacek, age 6 in Poynette, WI
I had over 12 hearts on my quilt.
It only took 2 days
It is called floppy hearts because I sewed the hearts in the middle of the hearts.
Trish came and taught me how to sew the binding on with a sewing machine.
I picked purple because my favorite color is purple.
I did fancy stitches.
It was my second quilt. I am proud.
Super Super Cool! I love the name --- Floppy Hearts!

ReplyDeleteI like your floppy hearts. I will have to try that technique on one of my projects...maybe in a quiet book for my grandson. Very cool idea. And just like you, I have been practicing sewing on binding on the sewing machine. Keep sharing your projects!

Great job, Capri! I just tried to sew a binding on by machine and I think I still need some practice. Maybe what I need is for someone to come to my house and show me how to do it. I wish you lived near by. :)
